Accident Injures Springville Driver Posted 28 June 2008 Kevin Burmeister, 44 of Springville, was taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries in an accident near Petersburg Thursday afternoon, June 26.   According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Burmeister was northbound on X-47 about one mile north of Petersburg driving a dump truck when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel and went into the ditch.   The truck rolled onto its side. Burmeister was taken to Mercy Hospital in Dyersville with possible injuries. He was cited for failure to maintain control.
