Lawnmower Accident Leaves Man Dead Posted 27 June 2008 Officials from the Jones County Sheriff's Office say Daryl Jansen, 85 of rural Onslow, was killed in a lawn mower accident Wednesday afternoon, June 25.   The accident happened at Jansen's home, one mile west of Onslow.   Jansen died when a lawnmower overturned onto him in a ditch at his home.   Midland Ambulance Service and members of the Center Junction Fire Department assisted Jones County's Sheriff's officers at the scene.
