Wapsipinicon Flood Water Receding

The National Weather Service's Flood Warning for the Wapsipinicon River in Anamosa continues in effect until Saturday morning, June 21.
 
At 4:15 a.m. this morning, Thursday, June 19, the stage was 16.5 feet and falling. Moderate flooding is occurring. Flood stage is 14 feet.
 
The forecast is for the Wapsipinicon River to fall below flood stage Saturday morning, June 21.
