Dyersville Reschedules Downtown Friday Night Event Posted 18 June 2008 For the first time in its 10 year history, Dyersville was forced to cancel its first Downtown Friday Night event of the summer last Friday night, June 13. The Dyersville Chamber cancelled because of the flooding--not only was the Dyersville community recovering, but the Cedar Island Band from Cedar Rapids that was due to perform that night was also dealing with flood issues in the Cedar Rapids area. The Dyersville Chamber has announced that the event that was to be held last Friday has now been rescheduled. It will be held Friday, September 12. For additional information, contact the Chamber.
